RUSTIC ROOTS
Rustic Roots is an original acrylic diptych on wood, exploring the connection between my Scandinavian roots and my life in southern Spain. Inspired by weathered painted wood, Mediterranean plaster surfaces, Nordic folk art and Andalusian ornamentation, the two contemporary paintings bring together influences from north and south.
The muted colours, layered textures and subtle gold details create a calm expression for organic interiors, contemporary homes and modern villas in Marbella and the Costa del Sol. The two paintings are sold together as one diptych.
 
“Rustic Sand”
Warm, earthy and understated. Inspired by weathered plaster, faded wood and soft sand tones. The neutral palette creates a sense of calm, while subtle gold details add depth and character.
 
“Rustic Sea”
Muted turquoise inspired by weathered painted wood and the soft colours of the Mediterranean Sea. The original ornament combines influences from Nordic folk art and Andalusian patterns, while subtle gold details add warmth and dimension.
